TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Brenton Scott hit six 3-pointers and scored 30 points — both career highs — as Indiana State came back from a 12-point deficit for the second straight game, beating Northern Iowa 74-60 on Wednesday.
Scott hit 10-of-19 shots but was 6-of-10 from 3-point range as the Sycamores (10-7, 3-1 Missouri Valley) were 12-of-28 behind the arc. It was the first 30-point game for an Indiana State player in four seasons.
Devonte Brown added 17 points and combined with Scott for 17 rebounds.
Bennett Koch had 18 points and Wes Washpun 16 for Northern Iowa (10-8, 2-3), which led by 12 with 6:23 left in the first half.
