IRVING, Texas – The University of Northern Iowa football program was honored today by the National Football Foundation with three student-athletes earning membership to the Hampshire Honor Society.
Karter Schult, Griffin Gaeta and Robert Rathje all earned a spot on the distinguished list of student-athletes that represent FBS, FCS, Division II, III and NAIA football. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society comprises college football players who have maintained a cumulative 3.20 GPA or better throughout their college career.
The Panthers have a history of landing spots on the list, being just one of 32 schools to have at least one athlete recognized in each of the Hampshire Honor Society's 11 years.
