ASSOCIATED PRESS – Senior defensive lineman Karter Schult has been named to the 2016 Associated Press FCS All-America first-team, it was announced today.
Schult is UNI's 11th AP All-America first-team selection under the direction of head coach Mark Farley and the 26th selection in program history. This is Schult's third All-America honor of his career, also earning STATS FCS All-America second-team in 2015 and College Sports Madness All-America first-team in 2016.
He is one of 13 student-athletes representing the Missouri Valley Football Conference on the 2016 team, including six first-team selections.
