STATS – Senior defensive end Karter Schult has been named to the 2016 STATS FCS All-America Team, it was announced today.
Schult, who earned first-team honors, is one of three finalists for the Buck Buchanan Award invited to the STATS FCS Awards Banquet. The award is given to the absolute best defensive athlete in FCS football with the winner being announced Jan. 6.
This isn't Schult's first appearance on the STATS All-America Team, earning a second-team selection in 2015. In 2016, Schult has earned AP, AFCA and Walter Camp first-team All-America in addition to his STATS honor.
