Northern Iowa and Drake finished at opposite ends of the Missouri Valley Conference, so it makes sense that the two programs take contrasting recruiting approaches this summer.

“We’ve looked at a couple junior-college kids and a couple fifth-year transfer options, and maybe even another high school kid to close out this 2016 class,” UNI assistant coach Erik Crawford said. “We’ll see. 2017 is a little tricky for us because of what we have available.
