CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa softball squad will begin its march toward consecutive Missouri Valley Conference titles, at home in the UNI-Dome Classic as the Panthers play host to the event Feb. 9-11.
Last year, UNI finished 33-19 (20-6 MVC) and captured the regular season MVC title before losing in a tight one-run game to Southern Illinois in the MVC tournament title game.
For the fourth straight season, the Panthers will open up their regular season slate in the UNI-Dome, where they have gone 11-6 in the past three UNI-Dome Classics.
