CARBONDALE, Ill. – UNI track and field closed out the first day of competition at the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday with three All-Conference performances and five top-five finishes. The men are currently second in the team standings with 34 points and the women are seventh with nine points.
Graduate student Kyler Yodts led the Panthers in the men's hammer throw, notching a personal best of 65.16m to earn all-conference honors and a second-place finish. Sophomore Cameron Jones landed fourth with a toss of 65.16m and graduate student Darius King took sixth with a mark of 57.
