CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The UNI Panther volleyball team split a pair of matches at the University of Illinois Illini Classic at Huff Hall in Champaign, sweeping Lipscomb 3-0 before falling to No. 8 Illinois 3-0.

The Panthers took control early and never let the Bison gain a foothold to earn a 25-17, 25-20, 25-16 win.
UNI built a 7-2 lead and never trailed in the first set. The second set started with a 6-0 Panther run. Lipscomb battled back, but couldn't make up the difference and UNI won the second set 25-20.
