CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa hosted two successful meets over the weekend coming away with first-time wins and personal-bests at both the Jack Jennett Open and the Mark Messersmith Invitational.
A pair of freshmen started the weekend with wins in the 60 meter dash and the 200 meters at the Jack Jennett Open with Katie Maschmann and Jasmine Blue coming away victorious. Maschmann ran a personal-best time of 7.93 in the finals of the 60 meter dash while Blue chimed in with a time of 25.
