MADISON, Wis. – The UNI track and field program wrapped up the regular season tonight at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic, posting fast times and strong marks heading into the postseason.
Action got underway on the track with the 110 meter hurdles with all four of UNI's competitors earning personal-best times. Jon Rus ran the fastest time in the preliminary race with a time of 13.85, ranking No. 4 all-time at UNI and No. 14 in the NCAA West region heading into the weekend.
Daurice Fountain and Cole Phillips both notched PRs in the race that rank them in the top-30 in the NCAA West with Fountain coming in the prelims with a time of 14.
