CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI had a strong first day of competition at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. The Panther men closed out the morning session leading the team standings with 39 points, twelve points ahead of Indiana State, who sits in second place. The UNI women are second in the team standings at the close of the evening session, with 24 points. On the women's side, Southern Illinois is in first with 40 points.
Graduate students Kyler Yodts and Darius King, as well as freshman Parker Kiewiet, posted all-conference finishes in the morning session.
