TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A shot at the buzzer was just offline and UNI women's basketball fell in a road game at Indiana State Thursday 65-63.
The Panthers turned the ball over 21 times allowing Indiana State to attempt 12 more shots than UNI to pick up the two-point win.
The Panthers outscored the Sycamores 17-8 in the first quarter and led 29-26 at the half. UNI built a 12-point lead with 6:16 left in the third quarter, but Indiana State chipped away and cut the lead to 48-42 at the entering the fourth.
