CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Sunday afternoon the UNI Panthers played Western Illinois in their 19th overall meeting, with the Leathernecks getting the win 4-3.
It took a little over ten minutes for the first goal of the game to be scored. The first goal came from Western Illinois midfielder Kayla Tuner, who was assisted by forward Jenna Lundren. The Panthers were able to tie it up 7 minutes later with a goal from Johnnie Hill at the 17-minute mark. The tie was broken in the 34th minute of the 1st half by the Panthers with an unassisted goal from Ashley Harrington.
