Stillwater, Okla. – After a three game losing streak, the Panthers kicked off the Mizuno Classic at Oklahoma State University this Friday.
The Panthers (8-7) started the day facing off against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (4-12). Jaci Spencer was the starting pitcher and led the team to a 5-1 win. Spencer faced 24 batters and held them to only three hits and one run after striking out six.
UNI started their win in the bottom of the third after Macey Wolfe sacrificed flied into center field to bring home Brittney Krodinger for the first run of the game.
