MILWAUKEE, Wis.—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team notched a victory against Cardinal Stritch this afternoon, 5-2.
Two Panthers had tie-breakers in their singles matches. Claudia Toledo went the distance in the No. 2 singles spot, defeating Lisa Keller 3-6, 7-5, 6-1. Harri Proudfoot went the distance at the No. 3 singles spot to a tiebreaker, pulling away with a win 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.
Gisela Kemper defeated Antonia Elze 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles spot. Savanna Hunt would earn a win for the Panthers in the No.
