CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Panther men's basketball team were back in action in the McLeod Center on Wednesday night, taking on the Antelopes of Grand Canyon University. The Panthers trailed early in the game and eventually fell to the visiting Lopes 73-62.
The Panthers managed to keep the Lopes below thirty points in the first half, heading into halftime down 29-21. The Panthers shot 34.8 percent from the field going 8-23 and 5-10 from beyond the arc.
Both teams entered the second half with an increased intensity, with the Panthers almost doubling their first half point total in the second half.
