OMAHA, Nebraska - The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team took care of business in four sets with a 3-1 victory over the University of Nebraska-Omaha on Friday at the Omaha Challenge.
UNI (9-3 overall) won by set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22. Omaha drops to 3-9 on the season.
Junior Bri Weber collected her 1,000th career dig and her eighth career 20-plus dig performance against the Mavericks. Weber recorded her 39th career double-double with 14 kills and 23 digs. Weber became the 17th UNI Panther to surpass the 1,000 dig mark.
Sophomore Karlie Taylor posted her sixth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 13 digs against the Mavericks.
