WATERLOO, Iowa— Three second half goals from the University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team earned their first win at home over the Huskies of Northern Illinois, 3-1.
Northern Illinois's Trudy Quidzinski put the first score on the board, scoring in the 37th minute off her own corner kick.
Maddie DePrenger netted her first goal of the season in the 56th minute after the ball deflected off the Huskies goalkeeper to even the score.
Hannah McDevitt gave the Panthers the lead in the 70th minute of the match, scoring in the center of the box.
