BROOKINGS, South Dakota--The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team swam past the Jackrabbits of South Dakota this afternoon, 169-131.
Katie Taylor swam to three first-place finishes this afternoon. In the 200 freestyle, Taylor timed in at one minute, fifty-three seconds, and seventy-three hundredths of a second. Taylor swam a 2:03.49 in the 200 backstroke. Taylor took first in the 200 IM, swimming in seven seconds ahead of Rinaldi. Taylor's finishing time would be 2:06.92, while Rinaldi took second-place, with a time of 2:13.82.
Madison Rinaldi narrowly grabbed first-place in the 100 backstroke, swimming a 59.
