Panthers Defeat Evansville 67-31

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI Panthers women's basketball team rolled past the Aces on Saturday, 67-31. The Panthers claimed a new game-high 16 three-pointers with the 36-point win.

The Panthers came out strong in the first quarter and held the Aces to zero points. This is the first time UNI has forced a shutout to end a quarter.

The Aces made their first two points from the free-throw line two minutes into the second quarter. They would end the quarter with two back-to-back three-pointers and a turnover that allowed Sara McCullough to make a layup at the buzzer.
