Brookings, South Dakota – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program hit the road for the first time in 2018, with the Panthers competing in the Jim Emmerich Invite on Saturday.
Minnesota placed first on the men's side, while South Dakota won for the men. Both the men (36) and the women (35) finished fifth overall for UNI at Saturday's event.
On the men's side, the Panthers earned Top-5 finishes in six events. The highest on the day was from the 4x400 relay team of Jojo Frost, Sven Van Den Bergh, Jordan Pingel and Connor Blough, who came in second with a time of 3:13.
