AUSTIN, Tex. --- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-Start Classic returned after a four-year hiatus on Tuesday night as the nation's top wrestlers converged in Texas to showcase the best in college wrestling.
UNI's Parker Keckeisen, ranked 2nd in the nation at 184 pounds, became the 15th Panther in school history to be showcased in the All-Star Classic, falling in a 12-8 decision to top-ranked and two-time reigning NCAA champion Aaron Brooks of Penn State.
Tuesday's bout was Keckeisen's 3rd all-time matchup against Brooks in his collegiate career, who claimed the silver medal at the 2018 U18 World Championships.
