CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI volleyball team fell to the Sycamores of Indiana State on Sunday afternoon 3-2, falling with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 16-25, 16-25, 5-15.
The Panthers and Sycamores traded leads early in the opening set. The Panthers scored 8 straight points midway through the set and moved out to a 19-11 lead and ended with a 25-15 set victory. UNI finished with 16 kills 2 blocks and 2 aces and recorded a .275 team hitting percentage.
A close set the Panthers and Sycamores saw ties at 12-12 and 17-17.
