IOWA CITY, Iowa - UNI track and field's Darius King threw a season-best throw in the shot put to move into sixth place nationally and win the Hawkeye Invitational.
The Panthers were led by seniors Darius King, Isaiah Trousil and Seb Gearhart. King won the shot put with a season's best throw of 19.64 meters, moving King into sixth in the nation. Trousil finished second in the 60-meter dash with a personal best time of 6.71 seconds. Trousil also finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.
