IOWA CITY, Iowa --- Four Panthers reached the podium, including 3 in the 100-yard backstroke as UNI climbed to fourth place in the team standings at the conclusion of the third day of the Missouri Valley Conference Swimming & Diving Championships.
UNI athletes notched 16 career-best times and results during Friday's preliminary and finals heats, which included all 7 Panthers recording either season or all-time bests in the 100-yard backstroke. Amber Finke recorded season-bests in both her prelim and A-Final heats with a championship time of 54.45 to earn her third straight bronze medal in the event.
