Cedar Falls, IA- UNI women's soccer team opened MVC conference play against the Illinois State Redbirds at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers fell to the Redbirds 5-0, the Panthers move to 4-6-0 on the season.
The Redbirds opened the game with a goal in the 41st minute, from an Alissa Ramsden goal assisted by Kate Del Fava.The Redbirds extend their lead with a goal by Kate Del Fava in the 37th minute. Illinois State continues to push on in the 33rd minute with a goal by Natilie Vaughn-Low. In the second half Illinois State scores a fourth time by a penalty kick by Abby Basler and their fifth by Kate Del Fava, her second of the match.
