WATERLOO, Iowa – The UNI soccer team took the field against the Missouri State Bears Saturday afternoon, picking up the teams' first win of the season.
The Panthers led the Bears at the end of the first half 1-0 with a goal made by at the 30 minute mark. The Panthers leading shooter recording 4 shots attempts in the first half, 1 in the second, and recorded a total of 5 shots on the day. Thiman also records a notable 4 shots.
In the second half the Panthers held their lead against the Bears, increasing their shots on goal from the first half from 6 to 8 while holding the Bears to just 3 shots on goal.
