DALLAS, Texas - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team got its spring season underway Monday with two rounds of play at the ORU/SFA Spring Break Invitational. The Panthers played the Trophy Club Country Club playing a par of 72 and measuring 6,101 yards.
UNI posted a solid opening first-round of 298 and was tied for fourth place in the team standings. However, the afternoon round got away from the Panthers and they slid to 17th out of 20 teams in the tournament with a second-round team score of 314.
UNI's Sonja Przybylski is the squad's leader after day one with rounds of 74-77 (+9).
