MACOMB, Ill. – The UNI offense played an uncharacteristically inconsistent game Saturday and the Panther defense gave up 300 yards through the air as the Western Illinois Leathernecks earned a 37-17 win Saturday in Macomb.
Eli Dunne was 22-33 for 218 yards, two interceptions and a touchdown.
Marcus Weymiller was the bright spot on the offense rushing 16 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. He also tallied three catches for 21 yards and a score.
Western Illinois QB Sean McGuire was efficient, throwing 25-32 for 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
