FARGO, N.D. — The Northern Iowa wrestling team suffered the loss against North Dakota State on Saturday.
The Panthers were defeated 22-15, dropping their record to 3-10 overall and are 2-5 in the Mid-American Conference. North Dakota State improved to 4-5 and 1-2 in the Big 12.
UNI’s Josh Alber, who is ranked No. 13 at 133 pounds, collected the Panthers’ first win of the night by pinning Nico Colunga at 2:05. The Bison would go on to win the next three matches by decisions.
