CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — The West Gym was packed here on Saturday night, a sold-out 2,010 all crammed inside to watch the 16th-ranked Northern Iowa wrestling dominate an in-state opponent.
The Panthers topped Iowa State, 31-7, winning eight of 10 weights. With the win, Northern Iowa improves to 6-4 overall and 3-2 against Big 12 Conference competition, while the Cyclones fall to 8-9, 3-6.
