Northern Iowa improved its record Monday to 8-1 on the season with a dominant 110-51 home victory over Division III opponent Luther College.
Freshman Noah Carter had the best performance of his young college career for the Panthers, scoring a team-high 25 points (10-for-16 shooting) and snagging 8 rebounds.
UNI never trailed. The Panthers scored the game's first 19 points and took a 34-point advantage into halftime.
The second half was much of the same. UNI extended its lead to as many as 60 points, eventually wrapping up a 59-point win.
The Panthers drained 19 3-pointers and shot 42-for-69 (61%) from the field overall.
