OMAHA, Neb.—The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team was defeated this afternoon by Nebraska, 166-77.
Katie Taylor was four second ahead of the competition in the 200 IM, timing in at two minutes, three seconds and 84 hundredths of a second. Taylor was six seconds ahead of the competition in the 200 backstroke, timing in a 2:00.26.
Crystal Florman led all swimmers in the 50 freestyle, timing in at 23.66 for first place. Florman would again lead all swimmers in the 100 freestyle, timing in a full second ahead of Nebraska's Lindsay Helferich.
