CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI men's basketball team moved to 18-3 overall and 7-2 in the MVC after defeating the Bears of Missouri State 95-66 Wednesday night at the McLeod Center.
The Panthers opened the game hot, making their first five field-goal attempts of the game. UNI moved ahead by 20 entering halftime, leading the Bears 51-31 for their largest lead of the game. As a team, UNI shot 54.8% from the field and 56.3% from beyond the arc. On the defensive end the Panthers forced the Bears to commit 9 first-half turnovers.
AJ Green lead all scorers and rebounders with 13 points and 6 boards after 20 minutes of play.
