Friday is the big day for team points, featuring the quarterfinals, semifinals and key wrestleback matches. We call it separation day for a reason — the path to a team title at the NCAA Championships requires a strong performance on Friday.
Iowa, the 2021 NCAA team champs, brought all 10 starters to Detroit this weekend and all 10 advanced to Friday: 6 are in the quarterfinals and 4 more are wrestling back for third.
