TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – UNI track and field closed out the first day of competition at the Gibson Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., with freshman Parker Kiewiet in first in the men's decathlon with 3756 points and senior Erica Loussaert leading the Panthers in the women's heptathlon with 2576 points.
Kiewiet leads the field after clinching first in the 100 meters (10.76) and 400 meters (49.15), second in the high jump (1.93m), and third in the long jump (6.90m) and posted a mark of 9.52m in the shot put to tally 3756 points on the day.
