It was a perfect weekend for both of Iowa's Big 12 wrestling programs in Oklahoma this weekend.
After Northern Iowa rallied to stun Oklahoma State on Saturday night in Stillwater, Iowa State took 6 of 10 matches from the fourth-ranked Cowboys on Sunday afternoon to win, 20-12. It marks the first time Oklahoma State has lost back-to-back home duals since 1993.
The Cyclones' win over Oklahoma State is the program's first over the Cowboys since Jan. 24, 2010, snapping a run of 14-straight dual wins for Oklahoma State in the series. That was also the last time Iowa State beat the Cowboys at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
