Huskies Sweep the Panthers 7-0

BRADENTON, Fla.—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team was swept by the University of Connecticut, 7-0.

Harri Proudfoot and Valentina Caro earned the Panthers lone victory in doubles competition, although the Panthers lost the doubles point. Proudfoot and Caro scored a 6-4 win over Zaina Zaki and Summer Walker of UConn.

Claudia Toledo and Walker would go the distance in the No. 3 singles, as Walker pulled away 6-0, 2-6, 10-2. Reghan Lynch and J. Fitz-Randolph of UConn finished the No. 2 singles with an extra point situation, as Fitz-Randolph would win 7-6 (8-0), 6-2.
