COLLEGE STATION, Tex. – UNI graduate student Taylor Raines and senior Anna Hoyman competed for the Panthers during the second day of competition at the NCAA West Preliminary Round in College Station, Tex. on Thursday.
Due to an issue with the NCAA's measuring equipment, Hoyman and the entire first flight of the women's hammer throw will be required to throw again on Friday morning at 11 a.m. Originally, Hoyman had finished sixth in Flight 1 and 25th overall, posting a mark of 58.74m. Her toss was a mere 0.66m from her personal best of 59.
