Wrestling’s crown jewel has returned.
The 2022 NCAA Championships are set for this week at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Action begins Thursday and runs through Saturday night, where 10 individuals will be crowned national champions.
Iowa, the defending NCAA team champion, took all 10 starters to Detroit this week, while Iowa State took nine wrestlers and Northern Iowa qualified eight.
The Hawkeyes are gunning for a second consecutive team title while both the Cyclones and Panthers are expected to be among those fighting for top-10 positioning.
