CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI supporters stepped up in a big way to support UNI Athletics as part of the 2020 Giving Tuesday effort. Between Dec. 1-20, donors contributed $95,000 to the UNI Fight Initiative.
"I am continually overwhelmed with the generosity of our Panther family," Director of Athletics David Harris said. "Our Giving Tuesday campaign showed another outpouring of support. I am grateful to the three donors that made matching pledges and everyone that contributed to this campaign to help us surpass our goal for the Campaign. The UNI Fight Initiative is vital for our department to navigate the impact of COVID-19 without changes that will adversely impact our student-athletes.
