CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – After a sensational career at the University of Northern Iowa, former Panther wideout Daurice Fountain was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the 159th pick in the fifth round on Saturday.
With the selection, Fountain becomes UNI's 19th player selected in the NFL Draft and sixth under head coach Mark Farley. Fountain is UNI's first draftee since Deiondre' Hall was taken by the Chicago Bears with the 127th pick in the fourth round of 2016's draft.
Fountain is the first Panther receiver to be drafted since Eddie Berlin in 2001 by the Tennessee Titans.
