Brody Teske will finish his college wrestling career closer to home.
Teske, a four-time state champion from Fort Dodge, announced that he will transfer to Northern Iowa on Tuesday. He will be eligible to compete next season with three years of eligibility remaining, and is expected to compete at 125 pounds.
”I will be returning to my roots and the state that will always be home to me!” Teske wrote in an Instagram post, announcing his decision. I appreciate the support!”
Teske produced one of Iowa’s most accomplished high school wrestling careers. During his four years at Fort Dodge, he went 177-1 overall and won four state championships from 2015-18, becoming one of 27 four-timers in state history.
