CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – After reviewing the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Northern Iowa has determined that fans will not be allowed to attend the men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Dec. 12 or the Dec. 15 women's game against Iowa State.
"Our number one priority is to allow our student-athletes to compete in a safe environment," Director of Athletics David Harris said. "We want fans in the building, but we have a responsibility to continue to protect our community. We will continue to monitor the situation and hope to welcome fans back into the McLeod Center very soon.
