WATERLOO, Iowa---Penalty kicks were the deciding factor in the opening quarterfinal match of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament between the University of Northern Iowa and Evansville.
Evansville would win after six-rounds of penalty kicks, 3-2. Amanda DaSilva of Evansville got the ball in past senior keeper of the Panthers.
The Panthers and each got their penalty kick to go in in the third and fourth rounds of penalty kicks.
Neither team was able to get the advantage during regulation as the wind was gusting around 50 mph at times.
