CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – A leadership gift from a north central Iowa couple will support the most comprehensive renovations in the history of the UNI-Dome.
Doug and Rosie Lindaman, both 1972 graduates of the University of Northern Iowa, have pledged a major investment to help transform a "vitally important" facility to the Cedar Valley.
"For the state, it is the iconic landmark that gives identity to UNI," said Doug. "The UNI-Dome has served us well for nearly 50 years, but times change, and the public deserves to have these planned improvements."
Rosie said the project will elevate the university's athletics programs and strengthen the UNI-Dome's legacy for the next 50 years.
