Monthly, the UNI Student-Athlete Advisory Committee selects Student Athletes of the Month for their strong performances in the month before. December's Student-Athletes of the Month are as follows.
Austin Errthum - Football
Errthum was named the MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance against Missouri State. He didn't miss a field goal for the entire month of November and finished the season 24-29 on the season and 35-35 on the year in PATs. He was named First-Team All-MVFC.
Piper Thomas - Volleyball
Thomas was named the MVC Player of the Year and the tournament MVP after lead the Panthers to the championship.
