ST. LOUIS. Mo. – Senior guard Stephanie Davison has been named a recipient of the 2015-16 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Good Neighbor Award, it was announced today by the league office.
The award is given in an effort to honor the achievements of exceptional student-athletes. Ten student-athletes have been named by Commissioner Doug Elgin as the honorees for the 2015-16 Winter season. Davison joins former Panther Jaqui Kalin as UNI women's basketball athletes that have earned the award, with Kalin being a two-time recipient.
In order to be eligible for the award, the student-athlete must be in good academic standing, must demonstrate good citizenship through good sportsmanship and significant community service, and must participate in a sport, during the season of recognition.
