Northern Iowa lost to South Dakota State, 27-13, in Brookings. The Panthers won just three matches against the Jackrabbits and fall to 1-5 overall this season.
The Panthers, ranked No. 22 in InterMat's latest Division I poll, was supposed to wrestle both South Dakota State and No. 21 Wyoming, but the Cowboys experienced COVID-19 issues and had to adjust their trip. A handful of Wyoming wrestlers traveled to Brookings for extra matches.
