DES MOINES, Iowa – The UNI track and field team completed in wet and cold conditions the third day of action at the 2017 Drake Relays today, pulling strong performances along with sending two relay teams and Brandon Carnes to the finals of their events tomorrow.
Carnes turned in the fastest 100 meter dash time in the first round race today, posting a 10.16 to advance to tomorrow's finals. The finals of the 100 meters will start at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday.
Jon Rus finished in the top-15 in the men's 110 meter hurdles, placing fourth in his heat with a time of 14.
